Gokulam Kerala Football Club was established in 2017 with the vision to revive Kerala's football glory and provide a professional platform for local talent. Owned by the Gokulam Group of Companies, the club made an immediate impact by winning the 2020-21 I-League title in just its fourth season, becoming the first Kerala club to achieve this feat.
Our philosophy is rooted in promoting attacking, entertaining football while developing grassroots talent through our extensive academy system. The club's success has reignited football passion across Kerala, with thousands of Malabarians supporting us at every match.

Gokulam Kerala FC was officially founded on June 15, 2017, with headquarters in Kozhikode, Kerala. The club was formed with the aim of providing professional football opportunities in the region.
The club made its I-League debut in the 2017-18 season, finishing 7th in its inaugural campaign. This marked Kerala's return to top-flight football after a prolonged absence.
Gokulam Kerala won the 2020 Durand Cup, defeating Mohun Bagan in the final. This was the club's first major trophy and a sign of things to come.
The club created history by winning the 2020-21 I-League, becoming the first team from Kerala to achieve this honor. The title was secured with dramatic final-day victory.
Gokulam Kerala defended their I-League title in 2021-22, establishing themselves as a dominant force in Indian football and earning AFC Cup qualification.
The club made its mark in Asian football with impressive performances in the AFC Cup, reaching the group stages and competing against clubs from across the continent.

Read MoreThe Gokulam Kerala FC Academy was established in 2018 with the mission to identify, nurture, and develop young football talent from across Kerala and beyond. Our state-of-the-art facility in Malappuram houses residential accommodations, training pitches, and educational facilities.
Our academy follows a holistic development model that focuses on technical skills, tactical understanding, physical conditioning, and mental resilience. The curriculum is designed by UEFA-certified coaches in collaboration with sports scientists.
To date, 12 academy graduates have progressed to our first team, with 5 earning national team call-ups at various youth levels. Our U-18 team recently won the Kerala Youth League, showcasing the effectiveness of our development system.
